106. (1) Subject to such conditions as may be prescribed a 1[Corporation] may from time to time create one or more of the following posts, as it may consider necessary, in connexion with its affairs, namely,— (i) 2[Deputy Municipal Commissioner] ; (ii) 2[Assistant Municipal Commissioner] ; 3[(iii) Mukhya Abhiyanta ; ] (iv) Nagar Swasthya Adhikari ; (v) Mukhya Nagar Lekha Parikshak, and (vi) other posts of officers, staff and other servants necessary for the efficient discharge of its functions : Provided that where the State Government orders to the effect that the 1[Corporation] do create a post, it shall be obligatory for the 1[Corporationi] to create such post : Provided further that a post created under the first proviso shall not be abolished without the sanction of the State Government. (2) The qualifications of persons to be appointed to posts created under sub-section (1) shall be such as may be prescribed by the State Government.
