(1) The Milk Commissioner shall be the Chief Executive Officer of the Board. (2) Subject to any general or special orders of the State Government the Board may, appoint such officers and employees as it considers necessary for the efficient performance of its functions under this Act and on such terms and conditions as it thinks fit. (3) Subject to the superintendence of the Board, the general control and direction over all the officers and employees referred to in sub-section (2) shall be vested in the Milk Commissioner.
