49. (1) Each 1[Kshettra Panchayat] shall have a Khand Vikas Adhikari. (2) The Block Development Officer whose services have for the time being been placed at the disposal of 1[Kshettra Panchayat] shall be the Khand Vikas Adhikari of the 1[Kshettra Panchayat].
