Power of Kshettra Panchayat or Zila Panchayat to coOperate with other authorities and to assist institutions Not managed by it

38. A 1[Kshettra Panchayat] or a 1[Zila Panchayat] may, subject to any rules made in this behalf - (a) unite with any other 1[Kshettra Panchayat] or 1[Zila Panchayat] as the case may be, or other local authority in works or under takings which benefit all the areas controlled by it and such authority ; and (b) contribute to any work or institution from which the Khand or the district, as the case may be, benefits, although such work or institution is undertaken or marinated outside the Khand or the district or is included in any Nagar Mahapalika, municipality, cantonment, notified area or town area.
