The enactments named in Schedule VIII shall be amended in the manner and to the extent specified in that Schedule ; Provided that the amendment of section 37 of the Untied Provinces Panchayat Raj Act, 1947, shall take effect form such date as may be specified by the State Government by notification in the Gazette and different dates may be specified in respect of different districts.
