259. The State Government may, by notification in the Gazette, delegate to the prescribed authority, in respect of any specified 1[Zila Panchayat] or 1[Kshettra Panchayat] or 1[Zila Panchayat] or 1[Kshettra Panchayat] any one or more of the powers vested in it by this Act.
