(1) Save as otherwise provided in this Act, no unpublished information in respect of any person or business which, has been furnished to or obtained by the Commission under this Act shall be disclosed by the Commission, without the consent of the concerned person or the person incharge of the business : Provided that such information may be is closed to be Central Government, the State Government, Accountant General of the State or a person who requires it in connection with the discharge of his functions under the law relating to insolvency or in connection with the investigation of any criminal offence or for the purposes of any civil or criminal proceedings. (2) the restriction contained in sub-section (1) shall not apply to the information relating to tariff.
