The Board while performing its functions under this Act, shall have the powers of a civil court trying a suit in respect of the following matters (a) summoning and enforcing the attendance of any person and examining him on oath;(b) requiring the discovery and production of any document;(c) receiving evidence on affidavit;(d) requisitioning any public record or copy thereof;(e) issuing commissions for inspection of premises and examination of witness and documents;(f) such other matters as may be prescribed.
