(1) The Board may accept from a person who has committed or is reasonably suspected of having committed an offence under this Act, a sum of money not exceeding twenty thousand by way of composition fee and compound the offence.(2) On the composition of any offence, no proceedings shall be taken or continued against the person in respect of such offence, and if any proceeding in respect of that offence have already been inhibited against him, the composition shall have the effect of his acquittal.
