(1) The State Government shall appoint for every district a Bhoomi Sanrakshan Adhikari : Provided that one person may be appointed to be Bhoomi Sanrakshan Adhikari for more than one district or more than one person may be appointed to be Bhoomi Sanrakshan Adhikari in the same district. (2) The Bhoomi Sanrakshan Adhikari shall execute the plans and perform such other functions as may be specified by or under this Act.
