2. The Cotton ginning and Pressing Factories Act, 1925, the Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories (Amendment) Act, 1939, in their application to the United Provinces, and the Cotton Ginning and Pressing Factories (United Provinces Amendment) Act, 1941, as reenacted by the United Provinces Expiring Laws Continuance Act, 1948, are hereby repealed.
