11. (1) The State Government may appoint an Inspector of aerial ropeways. (2) It shall be the duty of such Inspector from time to time to inspect aerial ropeways and to determine whether they are maintained in a fit condition and worked with due regard to the convenience and safety of the public, and consistently with the provisions of this Act.
