16. (1) There shall be Dean of the Institute, who shall be appointed by the Board from amongst the senior Professors of the Institute and shall hold office for three years and may be eligible for re-appointment. (2) The Dean shall assist the Director in academic affairs of the Institute and shall exercise such powers and perform such functions as may be prescribed.
