Subject to the provisions to this Act, the Rules may provide for all or any of the following matters, namely: i) Admission of students to the University and their enrollment and continuance as such; ii) The courses of study to be laid down for all Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and other academic distinctions of the University; iii) The award of Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and other academic distinctions of the University; iv) Creation of new authorities of the University; v) Accounting policy and financial procedure; vi) The conditions of the award of fellowships, scholarships, studentships, medals and prizes; vii) The conduct of examinations and mode of appointment and duties of examining bodies, examiners, invigilators, tabulators and moderators; viii) The fee to be charged for admission to the examinations, Degrees, Diplomas, Certificates and other academic distinctions of the University; ix) Revision of fees; x) Alteration of number of seats in different courses and programmes; xi) The conditions of residence of the students at the University or a constituent college or affiliated college; xii) Maintenance of disGipline among the students of the University or a constituent college or affiliated college; xiii) All other matters as may be provided under the Act.
