(1) The appointment of the Finance Officer shall be made by the Board of Governors on such terms and conditions as approved by the Board of Governors for a term of four years. (2) The Finance Officer shall exercise such other powers and perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Statutes of the University or may be required from time to time by the Board of Governors. (3) The Board of Governors is empowered to remove the Finance Officer after due enquiry. It will be open to the Board of Governors to suspend the Finance Officer during enquiry depending upon the seriousness of the charges, as he may deem fit.
