(1) The age group for recruitment as Constable shall be 18 to 21 years with relaxation of 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates. The minimum educational qualification shall be 10 + 2 passed. (2) The recruitment of Constables shall be made through a Recruitment Board through a transparent process as per procedure laid down by the Government. The procedure should be such that the same is not amenable to any misuse or abuse.
