(1) There shall be paid from the Management Fund to each member such honorarium, fees and allowances for exercising his powers and performing his duties and functions as the Chairman, Treasurer, or other member, as the case may be, as may be determined by the State Government, from time to time. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in any other law for the time being in force, a member shall not be disqualified for being chosen as, or for being, a member of the State Legislature or local authority, merely by reason of the fact that he is a member of the Committee or that he receives any honorarium, fees or allowances under this section.
