(1) The State Government may appoint a person, who is or has been a Gazetted Officer of Government as Executive Officer of the Committee and he shall be ex-officio Secretary of the Committee. (2) The Committee may appoint such officers (other than Executive Officer) and servants as it thinks necessary for the efficient management of the Temple Trust and performance of its duties and functions under this Act : Provided that, no officer or servant, who is paid or is to be paid a salary of over five hundred rupees per month, shall be appointed by the Committee, without the previous approval of the State Government.
