(1) A member of the Dal or a superior officer shall not be competent to exercise any powers or perform any functions or to enjoy any privileges under this Act, during the period for which he is under suspension from the office. (2) During the period of suspension, such person shall not cease to be a member or an officer, as the case may be, of the Dal and shall during that period continue to be subject to the same control and discipline to which he was subject, prior to his suspension from office.
