It shall be the duty of every supervisory officer and member of the Dal to,- (a) promptly obey and execute all orders lawfully issued to him by his superior authority and the principal officer or any other officer specified under sub-section (3) of section 10; (b) protect and safeguard the premises of the Government which are situate within the local limits of his jurisdiction; (c) protect and safeguard the premises of such other authorities, undertakings or organisations for the protection and security of which he is deputed under sub-section (1) of section 17; and (d) do any act conducive to the better protection and security of the premises referred to in clauses (b) and (c).
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>It shall be the duty of every supervisory officer and member of the <i>Dal</i> to,-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>a</i>) promptly obey and execute all orders lawfully issued to him by his superior authority and the principal officer or any other officer specified under sub-section (<i>3</i>) of section 10;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><i>(b)</i> protect and safeguard the premises of the Government which are situate within the local limits of his jurisdiction;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>c</i>) protect and safeguard the premises of such other authorities, undertakings or organisations for the protection and security of which he is deputed under sub-section (<i>1</i>) of section 17; and<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>d</i>) do any act conducive to the better protection and security of the premises referred to in clauses <i>(b)</i> and (<i>c</i>). <br>
