(1) The Board established under section 3 shall be a body corporate having perpetual succession and a common seal, and shall have power to contract, to acquire, hold and dispose of property, both movable and immovable and to do all things necessary for the purposes of this Act and may sue and be sued by its corporate name. (2) The headquarter of the Board shall be at Mumbai and shall have a District level offices at the District Vocational Education and Training offices of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training, Maharashtra State.
