(1) A member shall be appointed to a committee for a period of five years, but shall be eligible for re-appointment. (2) A member may, by writing under his hand addressed to the State Government, resign his membership of committee : Provided that, such resignation shall not take effect until the resignation has been accepted by the State Government.
