(1) Every application for renewal of the registration certificate under this Act shall be made before three months of the date of expiry of the period of such registration certificate : Provided that, the Authority or District Deputy Commissioner, Animal Husbandry, as the case may be, may allow such application after the aforesaid period, if the Authority or District Deputy Commissioner, Animal Husbandry, as the case may be, is satisfied that the applicant was prevented by sufficient cause from applying for renewal in time. (2) The provisions of issue of registration certificate under this Act shall, mutatis mutandis, apply for renewal of registration certificate.
