No person shall be appointed as the Registrar except on the recommendation of a selection committee constituted for the purpose and consisting of- (a) the Vice-Chancellor, ex officio Chairman; (b) the nominee of the Chancellor on the Executive Council; and (c) three persons, nominated by the Executive Council from amongst its members.
