(1) Subject to the recommendations of the All India Council for Technical Education and the guidelines of the University Grants Commission, as accepted by the State Government, and the provisions of this Act, the designations, qualifications, method of recruitment, pay, allowances and other conditions of service of all teachers of the University and their powers and duties shall be such as may, from time to time, be prescribed by the Statutes, Ordinances and regulations. (2) The designations, qualifications, method of recruitment, pay, allowances and other conditions of services of the non-teaching employees of the University shall, subject to the provisions of this Act and the approval of the State Government, be prescribed by the Statutes, Ordinances and regulations.
