32Penalty for obstructing Inspector
Whoever obstructs the Chief Inspector or an Inspector in the exercise of any powers conferred on him by or under this Act, or fails to produce on demand by the Chief Inspector or an Inspector any register or other document kept in his custody in pursuance of this Act or of any rules made thereunder, or conceals or prevents any employee in an industrial premises from appearing before or being examined by the Chief Inspector or an Inspector, shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to 1 [six months] which may extend to 2 [five thousand rupees], or with both.
