(1) Every licence granted to a weigher, sampler or classifier under section 25 shall be valid for such period, as may be prescribed and may, on application and payment of the prescribed fee, renewed from time to time for such further period as may be prescribed. (2) The licensing authority may concel any licence after communicating to the licensed the grounds on which it is proposed to take action and giving him a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against it. (3) Where immediate action is required in public interest, the licensing authority may, after recording the reasons, suspend any such licence without giving such notice.
