(1) The Board of Governors shall be the principal governing body of the University and shall have the following powers, namely:- (a) to review decisions of other authorities of the University if they are not in conformity with the provisions of this Act, or the Statutes or the Ordinances; (b) to lay down policies to be pursued by the University; (c) to approve the budget, annual report and annual accounts of the University, and to consider the annual audit report. (2) The Board of Governors shall, from time to time, meet at the intervals not exceeding six months at such time and place as the Chancellor thinks fit.
