Officers and Staff

(1) The Government shall appoint an officer not below the rank of Secretary to Government as full-time Member Secretary of the Authority who shall exercise all the executive powers of the Authority and all officers and staff of the Authority shall work under his administrative control.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(2) The Authority may appoint Deputy or Assistant Regional Development Officers, Urban Planners, Engineers, Law Officer, Accounts Officer, and other officers either on deputation or on appointment.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(3) The Authority may, from time to time, issue sanction for creation of posts of officers and staff as may be necessary for the efficient performance of the functions of the Authority. The conditions of recruitment, appointment and service and the powers and duties of such officers and staff shall be such as may be prescribed.<br> <br>
