4. (1) The Uttar Pradesh Official Language (Supplementary Provisions) Act, 1969, is hereby repealed.. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the said Act or under the Uttar Pradesh Official Language (Supplementary Provisions) Ordinance, 1968, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under this Act as if this Act had commenced on the twenty-fifth day January, 1968.
