This Act shall not apply to-- (a) trees situate in reserved and protected forests; (b) trees situate in a forest or forest land in respect of which any notification under the Indian Forest Act, 1927 as amended in its application to Uttar Pradesh is in force; 4[(c) trees situate in Cantonment areas;]
