Every member of the 1[Prantiya Rakshak Dal/Vikas Dal] shall be required to serve the 1[State Government] for such period as may be prescribed. He shall, thereafter, be called up for duty at any time during a further period as may be prescribed. After the expiry of such further period the member shall be deemed to have been discharged from the 1[Prantiya Rakshak Dal/Vikas Dal].
