If the Livestock Officer at any time has reason to believe that an approved bull has contracted a contagious or infectious disease of an incurable character or has otherwise become unfit to function as an approved bull, he may proceed in respect of the bull as if it were an unapproved bull, and the provisions of section 5, 6 and 7 shall mutatis mutandis apply to such proceeding.
