(1) Subject to the other provisions of this Act and the rules thereunder and subject to such conditions and restrictions as may be specified by the 1Corporation-- (a) the 1Corporation may delegate to the Executive Committee or to the 1Municipal Commissioner any of its functions under this Act other than those specified in Part A of Schedule I ; (b) the Executive Committee may delegate to the 2Municipal Commissioner any of its functions under this Act other than those specified in Part B of Schedule I ; (c) the Development Committee may delegate to the 2Municipal Commissioner any of its functions under this Act other than those specified in Part C of Schedule I : (d) the 2Municipal Commissioner may delegate to any municipal servants any of its functions other than those specified in Part D of Schedule I ; Provided that the State Government may from time to time by notification in the official Gazette declare any function specified in Part A, Part B, Part C or Part D of Schedule I to be delegable or any function not specified therein to be non-delegable and upon such declaration that function may be delegated ro shall cease to be delegable, as the case may be, as if it were not specified in Schedule I or were specified therein. (2) Whenever there is delegation of functions by the 2Municipal Commissioner, a copy of the order by which delegation is made shall be placed before the Executive Committee for information. (3) Notwithstanding the delegation by the 1Municipal Commissioner of any function under the Act under this section, the 2Municipal Commissioner shall continue to be responsible for the due performance of the function.
