The Pro-Vice Chancellor.

(1) <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> The Vice Chancellor, if he consider necessary, may appoint a Pro-Vice-Chancellor from amongst the Professors of the University with the prior approval of the Executive Council. <br> (2) <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be a person who has held the post of Professor. . <br> (3) <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> The Pro-Vice-Chancellor, of the University shall discharge his duties in addition to his duties as Professor. <br> (4) <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall hold office at the pleasure of Vice-Chancellor. <br> (5) <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> The Pro-Vice- Chancellor shall assist the Vice-Chancellor in respect of such matters, as may be specified by the Vice-Chancellor on his behalf from time to time and shall preside over meetings of the University in the absence of Vice-Chancellor and shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as may be assigned to him by the Vice-Chancellor. <br> (6) <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> The Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be paid honorarium, as may be determined by the university. <br> (7) <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span> The term of Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be co-terminus with the term of office of the Vice-Chancellor or till he attains the age of 60 years whichever is earlier.<br>
