In this Adhiniyam, — (a) “Ayog” means the Uttar Pradesh Go-Seva Ayog establish under section 3 ; (b) “Cow” means cow and its progeny ; (c) “Government” means the State Government of Uttar Pradesh; (d) “member” means a member of the Ayog and includes the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of the Ayog. (e) words and expressions used and not defined in this Adhiniyam but defined in the Uttar Pradesh Prevention of Cow Slaughter Act 1955 or, as the case may be, the Uttar Pradesh Goshala Adhiniyam 1964 shall have the meanings assigned to them therein.
