(1) Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act or the rules or regulations made thereunder, units and amenities set up in any Special Economic Zone falling under a Special Investment Region shall continue to be governed by and shall avail the benefits under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (Central Act No. 28 of 2005) and the Rajasthan Special Economic Zones Act, 2015 (Act No. 1 of 2016). (2) The developer of a Special Economic Zone shall take into account the plans and schemes prepared by the Regional Development Authority in accordance with Chapter V while finalizing any activity within the Special Economic Zone.
