If a member- (a) becomes subject to any of the disqualifications mentioned in section 7: (b) tenders his resignation in writing to the Government and the same is accepted: or (c) is absent without the permission of the Board from three consecutive meetings of the Board, he shall cease to be a member, from such date as the Government may declare.
