As head of the State Police Service, it shall be the responsibility of the Director General of Police to: - (a) operationalize the policies, the Strategic Plan and the Annual Plan prepared by the State Government, and (b) administer, control and supervise the Police Service to ensure its efficiency, effectiveness, responsiveness, accountability, impartiality, honesty and courteous behaviour on the part of the police.
