Subject to any order which Central Government may make in this behalf, a member of the Meghalaya police may discharge functions as laid down in law, in any other State and shall, while discharging such functions, be deemed to be a member of the Police Service of that State and shall be vested with powers, functions and privileges and be subject to liabilities of a member of the Police Service of that State.
