(1) This Regulation may be called the West Khandesh Mehwassi Estates (Proprietary Rights Abolition, etc.) Regulation, 1961. (2) It extent to the territory of the Mehawassi Estate in the Dhulia District of the State of Maharashtra. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
