The State Government may appoint a new member, when an existing member- (a) resigns or dies ; (b) is for a continuous period of six months absent from India, without obtaining leave from the Committee ; (c) leaves India for the purpose of residing abroad ; (d) desires to be relieved ; (e) refuses to act or neglects to perform his duties as such member ; (f) is removed or his membership is terminated by the State Government ; (g) ceases or is disqualified to be or to continue to be, a member under any of the provisions of this Act.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>The State Government may appoint a new member, when an existing member-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>a</i>) resigns or dies ; <br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><i>(b)</i> is for a continuous period of six months absent from India, without obtaining leave from the Committee ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>c</i>) leaves India for the purpose of residing abroad ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>d</i>) desires to be relieved ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>e</i>) refuses to act or neglects to perform his duties as such member ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>f</i>) is removed or his membership is terminated by the State Government ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>g</i>) ceases or is disqualified to be or to continue to be, a member under any of the provisions of this Act. <br>
