The State Committee shall exercise the following powers and perform the following functions, namely :- (a) to monitor the protection provided to the witnesses under the Act ; (b) to give necessary directions to District Committees and the police stations for protection to the witnesses ; (c) any other powers and functions as may be prescribed.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>The State Committee shall exercise the following powers and perform the following functions, namely :-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>a</i>) to monitor the protection provided to the witnesses under the Act ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><i>(b)</i> to give necessary directions to District Committees and the police stations for protection to the witnesses ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>c</i>) any other powers and functions as may be prescribed. <br>
