(1) The State Council may, with the approval of the Government, appoint such other officers and employees, as it considers necessary for the efficient performance of its functions and the functions of the Regional Councils under this Act. (2) The salary, allowances and other conditions of service of the officers and employees appointed under sub-section (1) shall be such as may be determined by regulations.
