(1) With effect from and on the appointed day the provisions of the enactments specified in the Schedule shall to the extent specified in column 4 thereof cease to apply to all service inams. (2) Nothing in sub-section (1) shall be deemed to affect,- (a) any obligation or liability already incurred before the appointed day ; (b) any proceeding in respect of such obligation or liability ; or (c) anything done in the course of such proceeding in any Court on or before the aforesaid date ; and any such proceeding may be continued and disposed of as if this Act had not been passed.
<span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) With effect from and on the appointed day the provisions of the enactments specified in the Schedule shall to the extent specified in column 4 thereof cease to apply to all service inams.<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) Nothing in sub-section (<i>1</i>) shall be deemed to affect,-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>a</i>) any obligation or liability already incurred before the appointed day ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><i>(b)</i> any proceeding in respect of such obligation or liability ; or<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>c</i>) anything done in the course of such proceeding in any Court on or before the aforesaid date ;<br> and any such proceeding may be continued and disposed of as if this Act had not been passed.<br>
