(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Restoration of Lands to Scheduled Tribes Act, 1974 (Mah. XLI of 1966). (2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Maharashtra. (3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
