§46

Summary

In the Maharashtra Zilla Parishads and Panchayat Samitis Act, 1961 (Mah. V of 1962),- (1) in section 57,- (a) in sub-section (1), in clause (f), for the words "Sarpanchas elected by members of Panchayats" the words and figures "Sarpanchas and Chairman, elected by members of panchayats and of Executive Committee constituted under the Maharashtra Gramdan Act, 1964 (Mah. XXIII of 1965), respectively," shall be substituted ; (b) in sub-section (2),- (i) after the words "members of panchayats" at both the places where they occur the words "and of Executive Committee" ; (ii) after the words "the Sarpanchas" the words "and Chairman" ; (iii) after the words "those panchayats" the words "and Executive Committee", and (iv) after the words "one Sarpanch" the words "or Chairman", shall be inserted ; (2) in section 58, in sub-section (2), after the word "Sarpanchas" the words "or Chairman of Executive Committees" shall be inserted ; (3) in section 59, in the proviso, in clause (c), after the word "Sarpanch" at both the places where it occurs the words "or Chairman of the Executive Committee" shall be inserted.

V of 1962),-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>1</i>) in section 57,-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>a</i>) in sub-section (<i>1</i>), in clause (<i>f</i>), for the words "<i>Sarpanchas</i> elected by members of <i>Panchayats</i>" the words and figures "<i>Sarpanchas</i> and Chairman, elected by members of <i>panchayats</i> and of Executive Committee constituted under the Maharashtra <i>Gramdan</i> Act, 1964 (Mah. XXIII of 1965), respectively," shall be substituted ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><i>(b)</i> in sub-section (<i>2</i>),-<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><i>(i)</i> after the words "members of <i>panchayats</i>" at both the places where they occur the words "and of Executive Committee" ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>ii</i>) after the words "the Sarpanchas" the words "and Chairman" ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>iii</i>) after the words "those <i>panchayats</i>" the words "and Executive Committee", and<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span><span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>iv</i>) after the words "one Sarpanch" the words "or Chairman", shall be inserted ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>2</i>) in section 58, in sub-section (<i>2</i>), after the word "<i>Sarpanchas</i>" the words "or Chairman of Executive Committees" shall be inserted ;<br> <span style="margin-left:15px;"></span>(<i>3</i>) in section 59, in the proviso, in clause (<i>c</i>), after the word "<i>Sarpanch</i>" at both the places where it occurs the words "or Chairman of the Executive Committee" shall be inserted.<br>
