(1) This Act may be called the Maharashtra Compulsory Teaching and Learning of Marathi Language in Schools Act, 2020. (2) It shall apply to every school situated in the State and in respect of every student enrolled in such school. (3) It shall come into force on such date1 as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint.
