(1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra Cinemas (Regulations) Act]. 2[(2) It extends to the whole of the State of Maharashtra.] (3) It shall come into force 3[in the pre-Reorganisation State of Bombay] on such 4date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette 5[appoint and in the remaining part of the State of Maharashtra it shall come into force on the commencement of the Bombay Cinemas (Regulations) (Extension and Amendment) Act, 1960 (Mah. XII of 1960)].
