(1) This Act may be called 1[the Maharashtra Bhil Naik Inams Abolition Act]. (2) It extends to the districts of 2[West Khandesh (Except the villages specified in Parts II and III of the First Schedule to the Bombay Reorganisation Act, 1960)] and Nasik in the 3[State of Maharashtra]. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint in this behalf.
